Sara Goldrick-Rab
Sara Goldrick-Rab, consultant, is an assistant professor of Educational Policy Studies and Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and senior scholar at the Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education. She was named a Rising Scholar in Higher Education in 2004 by the National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good and a National Academy of Education/Spencer Foundation postdoctoral fellow in 2006. She is the co-author of Putting Poor People to Work: How Work-First Policies Eroded College Access for the Poor (Russell Sage Foundation, 2006). Dr. Goldrick-Rab is currently collaborating on a large-scale random-assignment evaluation of a need-based financial aid program.
