Gretchen Bueter

Gretchen Bueter is the principal at Grove Patterson Elementary School in Toledo, Ohio. She has been an educator for almost 38 years, and in that time has served school communities and students in a variety of roles. She has taught nearly every grade, K through 12, as well as working as a reading specialist for students in grade 1 through 8.

Prior to working at Grove Patterson Elementary, Bueter was an assistant principal at Miami Middle School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and principal at Westfield School in Toledo. She has a bachelor’s degree and a master's in education from the University of Toledo, Ohio, and has currently completed all of the doctoral coursework in Administration and Supervision. She holds a Master Teacher's certificate and a K-8 permanent certificate, along with a principals' certificate and a reading specialist certificate. Ms. Beuter is married, with one son and a granddaughter.
