David Rolf
David Rolf is the President of SEIU Healthcare 775NW, which now represents almost 34,000 home care and nursing home workers in Washington state and Montana. David first joined the staff of SEIU in 1991. From 1995-1999, David led the Los Angeles home care organizing campaign, the largest union organizing campaign in the second half of the 20th century, resulting in a vote by 74,000 home care workers to join SEIU for a better life. In 2001, David spearheaded the campaign to organize state-paid home care workers in Washington State, resulting in 23,000 home care workers voting to join SEIU in the largest union campaign in Washington state history.
David also serves on the SEIU International Executive Board, several SEIU boards and committees, and on a variety of other boards and steering committees for governmental advisory bodies, political action committees, and non-profit organizations. He was raised in a union family in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a graduate of Bard College.
