Bill Henning
Bill Henning, the Executive Director of the Boston Center for Independent Living, leads a vibrant organization that provides individual independent living services to approximately 3,000 people a year. While at BCIL, Henning's advocacy efforts have included improving transportation services for people with disabilities, creating collective bargaining rights for personal care attendants, and improving housing options for people with disabilities. Prior to joining BCIL, Henning was a founding organizer with the Cape Organization for Rights of the Disabled - eventually serving as CORD's director - and served as Co-Chair of Massachusetts’s Olmstead Planning Committee.
