A New Progressive Agenda for Public Health and the Environment
Anti-government ideologues have waged a concerted, decades-long effort to undermine our ability to protect public health, safety and the environment, and their agenda is now being implemented by the Bush administration. While progressives have offered vigorous opposition, there has been little focus on developing a vision. This event will present progressive ideas for regulatory decision-making, with discussion of a new book by scholars at the Center for Progressive Regulation, A New Progressive Agenda for Public Health and the Environment.
