Jackie Weidman
Special Assistant
Jackie is a Special Assistant for the Energy Opportunity team, primarily working on issues dealing with oil, EPA defense, and global warming. Prior to joining American Progress, she was a research associate at Hanover Research, working on fundraising and development for nonprofit clients. Past employment also includes working as an environmental educator for Manna Project International, a community development organization in Ecuador. She also interned for New York-Presbyterian Hospital’s Sustainability Team as an undergrad. Jackie holds a B.S. in resource economics and sustainable development from the University of Delaware.
