Michael Rugnetta
Research Assistant, Progressive Bioethics Initiative
Michael Rugnetta is a Research Assistant to Jonathan Moreno for the Progressive Bioethics Initiative. A native of Philadelphia, Rugnetta graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in May of 2007 with a double major in political science and cognitive science. He received honors in political science for his thesis on swing voters. While studying full-time at Penn, Rugnetta held multiple work-study positions in psychology labs and at Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania. He also worked as a public-speaking advisor for his fellow undergraduates. In the spring of his junior year, Rugnetta studied abroad at the University of Cambridge, where he took courses in developmental psychology and religion and politics. Rugnetta was also active in student-run theater, Penn's Robert A. Fox Leadership Program, and the Penn Bioethics Society.
