William Rogers
Desktop Support Technician
William Rogers is a Desktop Support Technician at American Progress. He has worked both in the help desk and web design environment over the past eight years. William previously worked as an IT consultant for the National Financial Consultants, or NFC, where he helped develop and implement their Desktop Support Group. He also assisted with the development of software training sessions such as Microsoft Office and Adobe to improve work efficiency within the day-to-day operations for NFC staff.
Prior to this, William worked at the World Bank, where he carried out desktop publishing and graphic-web design duties. In addition, he assisted with the bank’s redevelopment of the Environment Departments intranet portal pages for each region. The World Bank recognized his high standard of work with honorary awards. William’s knowledge base consists of desktop support, network administration, systems configuration and maintenance, web design, graphics, and desktop publishing. William attended North Carolina State University, where he majored in communications and mass media.
