Teresita Perez
Deputy Speechwriter
Teresita Perez is the Deputy Speechwriter for the Executive Office at American Progress. Prior to becoming a speechwriter, she was a Research Associate in the domestic policy department at American Progress and worked on environmental and regulatory policy issues. Before joining the Center, she worked as the assistant to the executive director of Street Law Inc., a non-profit dedicated to teaching about law, democracy, and human rights. Teresita holds a degree in international relations and Spanish literature from Stanford University.
