Gary Peacock
Associate Director for Grants Management
Gary Peacock is the Associate Director for Grants Management at American Progress. He has worked extensively in corporate and non-profit accounting and finance, including more than 10 years in the non-profit sector with broad experience in financial reporting, grants and budgets. Prior to joining American Progress, Gary worked for the International Rescue Committee as finance controller for their refugee relief programs in Sierra Leone and Guinea. Prior to that, he was the finance manager-field internal auditor for Population Services International, where he provided accounting technical assistance to their Africa-based health care social marketing programs. Before those positions, Gary worked as the coordinator of accounting and finance for the American Association of Community Colleges. Gary is a graduate of the University of Maryland and a native Washingtonian.
