Harold Neal
Manager of Web Technologies
Harold Neal is the Manager of Web Technologies in the Online Communications Department at American Progress.
Prior to joining American Progress, Harold served as a technical lead in the Digital Media Department at National Public Radio. At NPR, he was the technical architect of the NPR API, which won the 2010 Gannett Foundation Award for Technical Innovation in the Service of Digital Journalism. He also developed software and frameworks for the management and presentation of digital news via the web, podcasts, mobile devices, and other platforms.
Before that, Harold worked as a consultant for Tallan where he built a wide variety of web-based systems for companies such as FedEx Kinkos and Capital One.
