William Flanagan
Special Events Coordinator
William (Billy) Flanagan is the Special Events Coordinator at American Progress. He comes from the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, a nonprofit advocacy group working for greater medical research funding, where he served as programs coordinator. Prior to that, he worked in events at the Human Rights Campaign.
Billy is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, where he studied music and psychology. Billy is a native of the D.C. area, having grown up in Alexandria, Virginia, and attended Gonzaga College High School.
