Alex DeMots

Deputy General Counsel

Alex DeMots is Deputy General Counsel at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, he served as counsel to Chairman Robert D. Lenhard at the Federal Election Commission. Alex also spent two years as an associate with Lichtman, Trister & Ross, PLLC. He is currently Of Counsel at that firm, specializing in election law issues. Alex is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Michigan.
