Sam Davis

Policy Analyst

Sam Davis is Policy Analyst at American Progress where he coordinates with affiliated scholars in developing progressive policy for lawmakers. Prior to joining the Center, he spent three years with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) as her Policy Analyst, working on a wide array of issues including consumer finance, government reform, and bankruptcy. During the 2004 Presidential election, Sam was Field Director for Planned Parenthood Action Fund in Las Vegas. A native of Long Island, he is fluent in Turkish and holds a B.A. in Policy Studies from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
