Kristina Costa
Special Assistant, Doing What Works
Kristina Costa is a Special Assistant for the Doing What Works project at American Progress. Kristina graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College with a B.A. in political philosophy. While at Wellesley, her research focused on the philosophical definition of “the political” and on political violence in colonial and postcolonial states. For three years, she served as an editor-in-chief of Counterpoint, a monthly publication focusing on arts, politics, and campus life. She also spent four months working in Morocco.
Prior to joining CAP, Kristina worked as a legislative correspondent for Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH). She was born and raised in Seabrook, New Hampshire.
