Laura Conley
Special Assistant
Laura Conley is a Special Assistant for National Security and International Policy. In this position she focuses primarily on military and defense issues. Laura graduated from Wesleyan University with high honors in government and a certificate in international relations. She studied European politics in Copenhagen, Denmark, and later wrote her senior thesis on European security policy. Laura previously completed internships with the Center of Concern and the Office of Senator Russ Feingold. Before joining American Progress she worked as a field organizer for the John Edwards for President campaign.
