Ian Bomberg

Middle East Progress Assistant

Ian is the assistant to Middle East Progress, where he helps publish the Middle East Bulletin newsletter and helps develop public-private partnerships, including managing the Palestinian Political Risk Insurance project.

Ian previously worked as a research assistant at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies in Ramat Gan, Israel, where he assisted in the publication of the book, Israel’s National Security: 1973-2006. He was also a former intern for Congressman Mark Kirk (R-IL) and volunteered as an English teacher in Thailand.

He graduated from Tufts University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and history. During his studies, he spent one year at Tel Aviv University examining the roots of the Arab-Israeli conflict and other regional issues.
