Ian Bomberg
Research Associate
Ian is a Research Associate for the National Security and International Policy team at American Progress. His work focuses on managing economic development projects in the Middle East, including the Palestinian Political Risk Insurance program. He previously co-managed the publication of the weekly Middle East Bulletin email newsletter.
Before joining American Progress he worked as a research assistant at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies in Israel where he assisted in the publication of the book, Israel’s National Security: 1973-2006. He also served as a intern for then Congressman Mark Kirk (R-IL) and volunteered as an English teacher in Thailand. Ian graduated from Tufts University with a dual degree in political science and history.
