Arpita Bhattacharyya
Research Assistant
Arpita Bhattacharyya is Research Assistant to Distinguished Senior Fellow Carol Browner at American Progress. She works on both domestic and international climate and energy issues. She was previously a researcher for CAP’s Climate, Migration, and Security Project in India and Bangladesh, studying climate change impacts in the region. She has also worked at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the University of Minnesota Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships. She is a graduate of Carleton College, where she majored in international relations with a minor in cross-cultural studies, and studied abroad in Central America.
