Anh Phan
Manager, Anti-Hate Table
Anh Phan is the Anti-Hate Table Manager at American Progress. She oversees partnership coordination and provides communication support, policy analysis, research, and written support for American Progress’s efforts to reduce the influence of anti-immigrant strategists and hateful rhetoric in the immigration debate. Prior to joining American Progress, Anh was a Women’s Research and Education Institute Congressional Fellow in the office of Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA), focusing on health policy and civil rights. Anh was also the director of communications at OCA, a national, multiethnic Asian Pacific American social justice organization. Anh has also appeared on MSNBC and was quoted in The Washington Post.
Anh is originally from Portland, Oregon and graduated with honors from George Mason University with a B.A. in government and international politics, and has an M.P.A. from Baruch College.
