Lindsay Hamilton

Director, Media Strategy

Lindsay Hamilton is the Director of Media Strategy at American Progress. She comes to American Progress from Capitol Hill where she served as communications director for Congressman Steve Israel (D–NY). During the 2010 election cycle, she was the campaign manager for Steve Israel for Congress. She started her career on Capitol Hill in the office of Sen. Chuck Hagel (R–NE).

Lindsay has also worked in broadcast news. She was previously a production coordinator at "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" and a desk assistant with ABC News in New York.
