Aaron Hall

Associate Director, Research

Aaron Hall is an Associate Research Director for the Enough Project at American Progress, focusing on the Democratic Republic of Congo. Prior to joining Enough he was an analyst for the Foundation for Environmental Security and Sustainability focusing on the socioeconomic and environmental impacts of small-scale mining in Sierra Leone and the Great Lakes region of Africa.

For over seven years Aaron has worked in various capacities in the fields of international conflict management, development, and natural resource management, including with the U.S. Institute of Peace, the U.S. Department of State, and as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia from 2002-2005. Aaron holds a B.A. in political science and cultural geography from the University of Montana and an M.A. in international peacebuilding and conflict resolution from American University.
