Vice President, Policy and Research
Tony Carrk is the Vice President of Policy and Research at American Progress. Carrk returned to American Progress after two years at the Democratic National Committee, or DNC, where he worked as the director of rapid-response research and was a member of the President Barack Obama’s debate-preparation team during the 2012 presidential election. He served as the research director at the DNC from November 2012 to August 2013. He previously worked at American Progress, where he helped provide content and rapid response during the passage of the Affordable Care Act and has worked on a variety of national and state campaigns. Carrk is a graduate of Siena College and received his MPP from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute.
