Sarah Audelo is the Policy Director for Generation Progress. Her work focuses on directing Generation Progress’s youth-led and focused policy solutions related to economic justice, civil and human rights, and democracy. Prior to joining Generation Progress, Sarah was director of domestic policy at Advocates for Youth, a national nonprofit that focuses on young people’s sexual health and rights. Previously, she was a 9th- and 10th-grade special education teacher in South Texas as part of Teach for America.
Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in public policy from The George Washington University.
