Faith and Progressive Policy Internship
Summary
We are an inter-disciplinary team whose members come from all areas of the Center. Our work includes holding panels and town-hall meetings on issues of faith and policy, such as stem-cell research, evolution, global warming, budget caps and more.
In addition, we write short pieces for our website, conduct research, write and commission papers and work with the Center’s policy experts to examine the moral and ethical underpinnings of progressive policies. We’re looking for interns with excellent research and writing skills, with energy and commitment to progressive values.
Every internship includes an important core of administrative work, including database management, report distribution, and general office support. Other duties include conducting targeted research and reporting on policy meetings, seminars, hearings, and lectures. Whenever possible, interns are encouraged to write on the subject of their choice either as a contributor to a larger final piece or as an individual author of a column for our website.
